According to the latest reports, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has demanded to ban the game in India. The CAIT has written a letter to Union IT & Communication Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. In the official statement, CAIT said it is asking to ban the BGMI game because it is harmful to young generations and also a threat to national sovereignty and security. Moreover, it has also asked Google not to allow the game to use Google Play Store.
