BGMI: Data Transfer From PUBG Mobile to Stop for Facebook Users

BGMI is a new battle royale game, an Indian version of PUBG Mobile. The developers allowed the players to transfer their old PUBG Mobile account to BGMI via Facebook and Twitter accounts. According to the latest reports, Krafton has made an announcement that the data transfer for Facebook users will be stopped from 28 September 2021 due to the changes in the policy of Facebook SDK.

Android users will not be able to log in via embedded browsers after October 5. So, if you haven’t transferred your data, then do it before September 28.  However, the deadline for the data transfer was set to 31 December 2021, but changes were made due to Facebook policy changes.

To transfer data, players need to log in to the game via a Facebook account. Make sure they have installed the app on the smartphone. More changes will be informed by the coming to the players via push notifications on the website.

The post on the official website says,

Logins with Facebook accounts in the embedded browser of Android devices will be disabled in the future, according to the policy update related to the Facebook SDK. Accordingly, after the date mentioned below, the data transfer of Facebook accounts will be shut down, and logins will not be possible unless the Facebook App is installed.

All the BGMI players have few weeks left to transfer data.
