PUBG Global Invitational.S Tournament is back for the year 2021. In PGI.S, all the players from around the world participate and compete with each other to win the tournament. The esports festival continues for 8 weeks, and it has a prize pool of $3.5 Million.

Once again, PUBG Corporation has announced the PUBG Global Invitational.S tournament 2021. It also has a prize pool of huge amount of 3.5 million. The PGI.S tournament will be held in South Korea in the month of February 2021, and it will be continued till March 28. The company promises to have full safety measures like quarantine. The organizers of the tournament will make players compete with each other while maintaining social distancing. Before the tournament starts, all the players and staff members will be quarantine for two-weeks.
At the announcement, the official said, the S in Invitational.S stands for Survival. The team also said that S also represents the new Series format of the tournament.
This year, the team has brought few changes to the tournament. In the event, there will be two parts, the first one is Weekly Survival, and the second is the Weekly Finals.
Details of PGI.S Tournament 2021
In the first week of the competition, all the participants will take part in the “Rank Decision” match. From this, the top 16 teams will be participating in the Weekly Survival from Week 2.
Every week, there will be 16 Weekly Survival matches. From these matches, each winner will be then participating in Weekly Finals. And the Weekly Finals will be taking ten matches.

Format of the Tournament
Dates of Tournament: The tournament will be held in South Korea from February 1, 2021, to March 28th, 2021.
Total teams participating: There will be a total of 32 teams from around the world.
Opening Weekend: All 32 teams will be participating. And top 16 teams will be qualified in Week 1 for First Weekly Survival.
Weekly Survival: In the weekdays, 16 Matches will be played, from which 16 Chicken Dinner Winners will be chosen.
In every match, if a team wins, that team will not play for the Weekly Survival run. The other team will join the match. Likewise, the process gets repeated till 16 Different Teams are qualified for the Weekly Finals. At this time also, the teams will win Prize Money.
Weekly Finals: There will be 10 matches at this stage.
