After all the hype among the Asian PUBG MOBILE fans, PUBG MOBILE officials have announced the format & schedule of the PUBG MOBILE World League East 2020.
The tournament is divided into three stages.
- Opening Weekend
- League Play
– League Weekend
– Super Weekend
- The Finals
The opening weekend will be started on 10th July & end on 12th July. The 20 qualified teams will be drawn into five groups with four teams each. The opening weekend will go on for three days, and a total of 15 matches will be played. The results of this stage will determine the grouping of League Stage.
- Match 1: Erangel
- Match 2: Vikendi
- Match 3: Miramar
- Match 4: Sanhok
- Match 5: Erangel
The 20 teams will be divided into five groups based on the Opening Weekend results. This stage will go on for three weeks, from 14th July to 2nd August.
The League stage is divided into 2 phases.
The League Weekend:
A total of 10 matches each week will be played in Round-Robin format. Each team will get eight games to play. The weekend plays will be held on every Tuesday & Wednesday. Top 16 teams from this stage will qualify for Super Weekend.
The Super Weekend:
A total of 15 matches will be played this week. Top 16 teams from League weekend will play on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Only the Super Weekend’s points will decide the points table of League Standings. Top 16 teams will qualify for the World League East Finals.
Sixteen teams will fight for a whopping $425,000 with three days of play. A total of 18 matches will be played during these three days.
The Prize Pool for Top 3 teams is:
- 1st place- $100,000 USD
- 2nd place- $50,000 USD
- 3rd place- $20,000 USD
- MVP- $10,000 USD
