Recently, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series Tournament is finished. Now, Krafton has announced four new esports tournaments in India this year. All these tournaments have cash prizes worth Rs 4 crore, esports opportunities, and other prizes.
The Four Tournaments of BGMI 2022 are:
- BMOC – Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge
- BMPS – Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 1
- BMIS – Battlegrounds Mobile India Series
- BMPS – Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 2
First, there will be an esports event of Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC). The registrations will begin from the end of February 2022, and the in-game qualifiers phase will start at the end of March.
Next is Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 1 and Season 2 with prize money of Rs. 2 crores. Other details of the event will be announced soon.

Details of Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC)
From the In-game qualifiers, a total of 512 teams will qualify for the first round. From these 512 teams, only 256 teams will be qualified for the second round. These teams will battle against each other, and the top 64 teams will go to round three. In the next round, 24 teams will be there for the first-ever Pro League (BMPS).
Details of BMPS – Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series Season 1
There are two seasons of the BMPS Pro Series; each has prize money of Rs. 2 crores. It is the largest prize pool for a single esports event in India.
The top 24 teams from 512 teams that are qualified from Battlegrounds Mobile Open challenge (BMOC) with a few invited teams will battle against each other in the qualifiers. From which, only 24 teams will go to the next round.
In the second stage, these 24 teams will fight against each other, and the top 16 will go to Grand Finals.
After BMPS season 1, the second season will start, which will be the last tournament of the season. More details of the tournaments are yet to come out. Once the details are officially revealed, we will share them here, so stay tuned to us.
