The first round was in-game qualifiers, it was an open tournament from which 1024 teams have qualified for the second stage, online qualifiers.\u00a0 However, till now the invited teams are not yet announced.<\/p>\n<p>The BGIS 2021 tournament has a massive prize pool of INR 1 crore. There will be a total of three rounds starting from today and the last grand finale will be from 13th January 2021 to 16th January 2022.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Format and Schedule for Online Qualifiers of BGIS 2021<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The online qualifiers round will be starting from today at 1.30 PM. There will be three rounds ending on December 30, 2021.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Round 1<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Round 1 is from December 16 to 19. The top 1024 teams will be divided into 64 groups. Each group will play 2 matches at a given time.\u00a0 From each group, the top 8 teams will be qualified for Round 2 of Online qualifiers.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Round 2 (December 21 to 24, 2021)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In the second round, the top 512 teams from Online Qualifiers round 1 will be divided into 32 groups. Each group will play 2 matches and from that top 7 teams from each group will go for Round 3.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Round 3 (December 27 to 30, 2021)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The top 224 teams with 32 invited teams will be into 16 groups. Each group will play 3 matches and from that top 4 teams will qualify to Quarter Finals.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Quarter-Finals<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The 64 teams that are qualified will battle against each other in this stage. The quarterfinals will be played between 2 January to\u00a0 5 January.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Semi-Finals:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The semi-finals are from 7 January to 10 January and they will be played between the 24 qualified teams.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Grand Finals:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In the finale, there will be 16 qualified teams fighting against each other to win the title.
